Megan Boyle Video Interview

i conducted a video interview with megan boyle on 11/22/11 in and outside her apartment re her debut poetry book selected unpublished blog posts of a mexican panda express employee (muumuu house, 2011)

when i was thinking about what questions to ask megan for the interview, i decided to 'simply' ask her questions about things i was interested in hearing about. not 'only' in terms of her as a writer, but in terms of her as her, because that'd ideally be what i'd want to read/see in an interview - answers to questions i feel interested in hearing the answer to

we decided to do a video interview because we thought it'd be fun to do a video interview

we talk about her book, her relationship with tao lin, blogging, the word 'stoned,' her ex-boyfriends, the word 'gorgeous,' relationships in general, blame, and [other things]. we sing songs by rilo kiley, the promise ring, and ol' dirty bastard. we laugh at frogs on a shower curtain. we stare at ourselves in each other's eyes and walk backwards until we can't see ourselves at all
